Waterfall Hike in La Filipinas
As our quarantine measures begin to lift, I’m looking forward to the day I can go hike in the mountains again and play in the waterfalls, like these, in Filipinas. It’s only about an hours drive from the beach in Coronado and feels like you’ve stepped into Narnia.
One of the many things I love about living in Panama is the abundant natural beauty. There are swimming holes, waterfalls, mountains and beaches too many to discover most likely. There’s an abundance of open space, protected land and natural treasures here in the country.
This time of sheltering in place has been productive and a beneficial time of introspection, clarifying a vision for the future. And, it’s created an exciting anticipation for the long awaited mountain hikes and shell collecting expeditions along the water’s edge.
Life is full of contrasts. We must learn to be adaptable to new and unfamiliar situations, because the very nature of life, is change.
